From The Pastor's Sermon...Seek The Holy Spirit

John 1-7 John saw and testified that Jesus was the Son of God. It seems from the scriptures John 1-32 that the church was born when Jesus commissioned His Disciples and empowered when He (Jesus) left by His ascension after He arose from the grave and went back into Heaven sending, The Holy Spirit as promised. The promises of prophecies was fulfilled when the Holy Spirit appeared on the day of Pentecost.

The Holy Spirit is a promise we must seek and wait for as the Disciples did when Jesus left them. John 16-7. Jesus Words: However I tell you the truth; My going is for your benefit; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, then I will send Him to you. Verse 8.....When He comes He will convict the world of sin and righteounessness and judgement-regarding sin, because they do not believe in Me regarding righteouness,  Because I am going to the Father and you will see Me no more; and regarding judgement, because the ruler of the world has been judged.

Jesus is the only one who baptises in the Holy Spirit. He is the Comforter, the Teacher, and The One Along Beside (Friend)

We always need to take Jesus with us wherever we go as He is our best Friend. As the Spirit commands we should do.

We must seek The Holy Spirit. We must repent in order to receive the Holy Spirit. We have no power without the Holy Spirit living within us. The main desire of our hearts should be for The Holy Spirit.
